On Dec3, the 4th Internet Summit was held in Wuzhen, Zhejiang Province. The theme of this conference was "Develop the Digital Economy and Promote Openness and Sharing to Build a Community of Shared Future in Cyberspace together". The beautiful water town of Wuzhen played a new role in world Internet industry.

More than 400 world-renowned Internet companies and innovative companies, focusing on the Internet, cloud computing, big data, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality, network security and other new technologies and products, participated in the summit. Internet New business models derived from the application and integration of various fields such as economy, society, culture and ecology were exhibited.

As an important representative infrastructure of smart city, Fonda Smart Pole was invited to exhibit at this conference.

It is worth mentioning that during the 2015 World Internet Summit, Fonda built a smart lighting IoT platform for Jiaxing City. The project is led by the Jiaxing Municipal Government to transform 45,000 high-pressure sodium lamps in the main urban area into LED lamps with a smart lighting control system, which was the largest LED smart lighting project in Zhejiang Province. It pioneered the affiliation relationship between power cabinets and lamps and the rapid positioning on the street lamp faults, and unified urban lighting street lamps into the Internet of Things.

At the same time, the street lighting system will be further upgraded to a IoT information platform. Smart poles make full use of street light pole resources and integrate into the surrounding environment to provide citizens WiFi hotspots, urban environment monitoring, security management, vehicle GPS positioning management and scheduling. New business models will also be born on the basis of smart poles. For example, smart poles can provide value-added services such as targeted advertising and municipal information release. The project has become a demonstration project for smart city construction. Delegations from the United States, Australia, Malaysia and other countries have inspected this project.

Today, more expectations are placed on the role of the Internet and information technology in promoting the economy and society, and they have become the engine of global economic recovery. It is a general trend for traditional industries to become intelligent with IoT technology. With the popularization and application of various IoT technologies, and the further improvement of the smart ecosystem infrastructure based on smart street lights, it is bound to further improve the citizen’s security and life, and enjoy the results of smart city construction.
