From November 5–7, the Hebei Lighting Industry Association held its annual conference in Hangzhou. The event focused on new directions for intelligent and green urban lighting.FondaTech delivered the keynote “How AIoT Smart Lighting Empowers Streetlight Management,” sharing practical ideas on improving city lighting operations through AIoT.

As cities accelerate digitalization, urban lighting is evolving from simply “lighting up” to being efficient, visible, and intelligently managed. In 2025, Hebei updated its urban lighting policies to promote smart, energy-saving, and data-driven lighting systems. The province also launched its AI+ Action Plan (2025–2027), highlighting smart sensing and smart light poles as key infrastructure for future city governance. These policies create clear opportunities for scalable smart lighting deployment.

“The essence of smart lighting is not just connecting streetlights, but enabling the city to see itself.”AIoT makes streetlight management visual, automated, and intelligent—real-time status on a map, adaptive energy-saving dimming, and stable control at large scale.

In rural areas of Baoding Hebei, FondaTech deployed smart light poles integrating lighting control, surveillance, and information display, with LTE controllers enabling real-time monitoring. The project improves night safety, transparency, and local governance, making smart lighting the digital nerve of the village.
Smart lighting has become a gateway to urban intelligence.FondaTech will continue to advance smart lighting and smart poles, applying AI + IoT to city management and building lighting systems that can see, sense, and think—lighting not just the night, but the city’s future.
